Sanctioning Body
The NHRA is the original organized sanctioning body for world class drag racing with history spanning over half a century.
The Lucas Oil Series is both a national and divisional level race series. The national event level spans the whole United States over a 24 race schedule. The divisional events are broken up by region, with 7 total divisions in the U.S., each of which conduct around 7-8 races. TSR races in both national and divisional races each year.
Stock Eliminator
Stock Eliminator is a performance-based blend of bracket and heads-up racing. The bracket racing aspect creates a fair and equal opportunity race, where two totally different cars can compete, both with equal chances of winning regaurdless of whom is the faster car. Consistency is the important factor in bracket racing.
However, you must also be fast. In the event that you run somebody in the same class as you, the race becomes a heads-up, give it all you got, first one to the finish line wins race. This is where performance is critical. The combination of both bracket and heads-up racing makes Stock Eliminator a unique and exciting form of sportsman drag racing.
